Black Friday goes Green

When is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday 2026 is coming up on Friday, 27 November 2026. As always, it's the day after US Thanksgiving, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. In Latvia, more and more shoppers look forward to Black Friday (melnā piektdiena) each year, and it has become a favourite time to pick up a new smartphone, laptop or tablet.

The idea behind Green Friday

At refurbed, Black Friday turns green. Green Friday: all green flags. Our message: you don't need to choose between a good deal and a more sustainable option. Not sure what refurbished means? It describes a device that has been professionally checked, cleaned and reconditioned, so it works flawlessly and is hardly distinguishable from new. A refurbished device stays in use for longer and reduces the demand for new resources. That makes it the more sustainable alternative compared to buying new.

Black Friday is iPhone time, refurbished

Black Friday is the time when price comparisons really matter. So put new and refurbished side by side. A refurbished iPhone comes with the same features and performance, and you save up to 40% vs new. Works like new, better price. Have your eye on a newer model or a well-priced older one? You'll find top deals this Black Friday. And every iPhone comes with a min 12-month warranty, so you can buy with confidence.

Laptops and MacBooks without the new price

Need a laptop for your job, your studies or simply everyday life? A refurbished MacBook Air or MacBook Pro means Apple quality at a more affordable price. Rather use Windows? Explore a wide range of refurbished laptops from Lenovo, HP and Dell, set up and ready from the first time you switch them on.

Tablets and iPads to suit you

Streaming, reading, drawing or school projects: a tablet handles them with ease. Choose a refurbished iPad, iPad Air or iPad Pro, or an Android tablet, and save compared to buying new. One thing to know: the condition grade (Good, Very good or Excellent) refers to how a device looks, never to how it works.
